Fall Court of Honor this Tuesday and more!

Parents and Scouts:

Just a reminder of this week’s activity. 

We will have our Fall Court of Honor this Tuesday.  All rank advancement and other awards that have been earned this summer will be handed out. Please plan to stay and see the troop get there awards and recognition of this summer’s activities.  

We are also 2 weeks into the Popcorn Sale!  This week there is a contest to see who has sold the most $10.00 items.  Please bring your order forms to show Mr. Liggett your progress and get a chance to win.

Caleb Porter will be having his Eagle Scout Project this next Sunday.  There is some practice activity on Saturday.  Please be ready to assist on this project.  Caleb will have more details at the meeting on Tuesday.

One other item.  - The District Leader’s meeting is this Thursday, October 1stand our topic will be: BACKPACKING & CAMPING EQUIPMENT presented by The Outdoor Source. This meeting is a combined Cub and Boy Scout roundtable and is open to all leaders and youth since the presentation will apply to any campers. The Outdoor Source will set-up and demonstrate equipment that is needed for camping. They will also bring along some door prizes to be awarded.  Feel free to ask any questions that you may have. I urge all of you to please attend. Please note this meeting is scheduled from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.  All scouts and parents are welcome to attend this meeting.

Scouts and Parents: Just a reminder that this week we will have three important activities going on of note. 1. Popcorn turn in is this Tuesday night. DON”T FORGET!!! Any un-sold product MUST be returned and check-in to Mr. Dool. [Any parents that can help with this activity is greatly appreciated by Rob] If you need any popcorn products to fill orders please be patient and wait until the end of the meeting to find out if it is available by someone else bringing it back as an unsold item. All money should also be turned in from items sold. Any questions – let me or Rob Dool know. 2. The week will be our Troop Elections. Very important event in the operation of our troop. Tyler's Eagle Project

Kirk Bohanan Scoutmaster Troop 136     Hey everyone! Tyler Straight here.    First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who attended my Eagle Scout Project this weekend. While we were unable to work Sunday, the crew that arrived on Saturday did a magnificent job. We painted nearly everything we needed to, and we removed an impressive amount of gravel in our small four hour window. Everyone worked hard and were respectful, and I couldn't ask for any more than that.    To continue this good work, I will again be holding two work days this weekend, Saturday, July 19th from 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 20th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. behind Grove City High School at 4665 Hoover Rd.
