Please keep up to date on your monthly dues.  We collect $10.00 each month for troop operation.  This can be paid or taken from your son’s Scout Account.  Scout Accounts are funded by participation in fundraising activities, and also by Kroger Plus purchases. Use Kroger Plus Card for your family food purchases. A percent of your spending at Kroger on the Kroger Plus card will go into the Boy’s Scout Account.  The Scout Account can be used to pay for Summer Camp fees, Monthly camp-out fees, Troop Dues, and Troop related expenses that are approved by the Scoutmaster. Please note that the purchase of Personal Gear is not an approved expense that your scout account will cover.

Please check with Jim Baughman on status of your son's Scout Account.

5. BSA Health Forms
HEALTH FORMS from Summer Camp are now on file.   If you did not go to summer camp you should have at least Part A and Part B of the New Health Form submitted to the troop.  [Part C is the visit to the Doctor’s office]. This is important information that we take on our outdoor outings in case of an emergency.  Please help us by getting this information into the Troop. As any medications change please update Part A of your son’s form. Please keep a copy of this form for your records - and in case I misplace them.

6. Eagle Scout Update!
Troop 136 is proud to announce that Michael Shoultz and Brian Kuehne have completed all requirements for Eagle Scout. Their Board of Reviews were completed and their confirmation from Council has been received.  We will start to plan these Court of Honors so watch for updates as they are rolled out.

7. Popcorn Sale Update
The popcorn sale is completed and you should have received your popcorn orders by now.  If you have not, please get them at our next troop meeting.  Plan to have the orders all out to your customers and money turned in by the camp-in.  Once your money has been turned in we will get you your popcorn prize that you requested.

8. Kroger Rewards Program – Current Statement ready for disbursement.
We have received our quarterly statement from the Kroger Community Rewards Program.  Please go on-line and retrieve your statement, then turn this information into Mr. Baughman.  If you are not currently participating in this program and would like get started please let ask for details.

Tyler's Eagle Project

Parents and Scouts: Please see the attached note from Tyler Straight – He needs your assistance on his Eagle Project.  Please assist if you can. Thanks. Kirk Bohanan Scoutmaster Troop 136     Hey everyone! Tyler Straight here.    First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who attended my Eagle Scout Project this weekend. While we were unable to work Sunday, the crew that arrived on Saturday did a magnificent job. We painted nearly everything we needed to, and we removed an impressive amount of gravel in our small four hour window. Everyone worked hard and were respectful, and I couldn't ask for any more than that.    To continue this good work, I will again be holding two work days this weekend, Saturday, July 19th from 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 20th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. behind Grove City High School at 4665 Hoover Rd. I similar equipment to last time, such as wheelbarrows, shovels, and rakes. I will not, however, need any paint...
