creek Sweep, Popcorn, Eagle COH, and service project

Parents and Scouts:

I wanted to let all know that we had a great turnout for the Creek Sweep and all that were there  - Job Well Done.  Thanks to all that were in attendance.  It really does make a difference.  Again – THANK YOU to ALL that Helped!

On to more news----

The popcorn sale is still going on and we hope our scouts are working to make sales.  This week at the meeting we have a contest to see who has sold the most “Muddpuddles”  Bring your order form to show your sales to me.  We have a Gift card for the winner.  If you need popcorn we can assist you tomorrow night at the church from 7:00-7:30 PM.  Wade Lunsford and Eric Liggett will be there to check out popcorn. On Tuesday it may be difficult to get this done, so please try to attend on Monday if you need any popcorn products.  Sale will end on November 1.  Get out there and well!!!!

We also have an Eagle Scout Court of Honor next Saturday at 2 PM at the First Presbyterian Church.  Please plan to come and be there to recognize Alec Thomas for his accomplishments.  I NEED HELP with this ceremony.  Please talk to me on Tuesday if you can assist. [both scouts and adult leaders needed]

And last but not least, I have a need for two scouts to help assist in a service project next Saturday morning.  We have about 5 bags of mulch to spread and some weeds to take care of for one of the church members.  We will plan to meet at the church on Saturday morning 10/22 at 8:30 and will be done by 11:00 am at the latest.  Please let me know if you can assist.

Sincerely,

Kirk Bohanan

Parents and Scouts: Please see the attached note from Tyler Straight – He needs your assistance on his Eagle Project.  Please assist if you can. Thanks. Kirk Bohanan Scoutmaster Troop 136     Hey everyone! Tyler Straight here.    First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who attended my Eagle Scout Project this weekend. While we were unable to work Sunday, the crew that arrived on Saturday did a magnificent job. We painted nearly everything we needed to, and we removed an impressive amount of gravel in our small four hour window. Everyone worked hard and were respectful, and I couldn't ask for any more than that.    To continue this good work, I will again be holding two work days this weekend, Saturday, July 19th from 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 20th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. behind Grove City High School at 4665 Hoover Rd. I similar equipment to last time, such as wheelbarrows, shovels, and rakes. I will not, however, need any paint...
