GRRrrrr...rrr...and upcoming meetings

Parents and Scouts:

grrrrr  rr  rrr  rrrr!

For those who were able to help this weekend on our mulch madness – THANK YOU!  It was a great turn out and all customers were delivered and spread that had requested our services.  We have a few checks to still come in and we will be finalizing the profit and hourly rate that we will be giving for those scouts that worked.

We do have just a little mulch left –  3 bags of Absolute Black, 90 bags of Hardwood and 9 bags of cypress.  If you are interested on any of these please let me know.

Please note that our next two meetings will be away from the church

This week – April 15 – we will meet at the Jackson Township fire station to see their “jaws of life” in action.  The location for this meeting will be at Highway 665 and Hoover Road location.  We will meet there at 7 PM Sharp. Once we get done there we will car pool back to the church to finish up the rest of our meeting.

On the April 22 meeting – we will be meeting at the Fryer Park area off of Orders Road.  We will be having a black smith demonstration.  should be very interesting.

I am still looking for scouts to assist in the Tar Hollow Day outing on the 26th of April – If you wish to help please let me know.

Don’t forget to sign up for the Thunderbase 2014 campout which will be on May 2-4.  If you have any questions let me know.

See you all on Tuesday.

Parents and Scouts: Please see the attached note from Tyler Straight – He needs your assistance on his Eagle Project.  Please assist if you can. Thanks. While we were unable to work Sunday, the crew that arrived on Saturday did a magnificent job. We painted nearly everything we needed to, and we removed an impressive amount of gravel in our small four hour window. Everyone worked hard and were respectful, and I couldn't ask for any more than that.    To continue this good work, I will again be holding two work days this weekend, Saturday, July 19th from 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 20th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. behind Grove City High School at 4665 Hoover Rd. I similar equipment to last time, such as wheelbarrows, shovels, and rakes. I will not, however, need any paint...
