Thunderbase and Summer Camp registration

Parents and Scouts:

Please be ready to complete the registration for Thunderbase and Early Bird Summer Camp this Tuesday.

The Thunderbase fee is $50.00 for the first 48 that get their funds in.  After that it will be $60.00.  Please have this taken care of this Tuesday if you wish to go.  Also – They sent out to me a note about a 70 Yard “Slip and slide” and a “Warrior Challenge” that will be at the Saturday activity.  If you wish to play on these you must bring a swim suit.

As for Summer Camp – Those that completed the first payment of $25.00 for the  Early Bird fee back in late February must have the final payment of $225.00 in by this Tuesday in order to get the early bird discount. If not then it will be a total of $270.00 and will be due before we go to summer camp  - [by June 15th.]

I have include the summer camp merit badge program schedule and the Merit badge pre-reqs for those wanting to continue to plan their summer camp activity.

I also have the new med form for those that need it for summer camp.

For the Mulch fund raiser earnings, I will be sending out under a separate email your son’s total earnings for this activity.  If you do not get that e-mail then please ask either  myself or Mr. Baughman for that information.  These funds will be available for paying your scouting activities as early as this Tuesday.

And – If you still have one of the troop Tents still out from it needs to be return this Tuesday – No exceptions!  We will need them this weekend.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Tyler's Eagle Project

Parents and Scouts: Please see the attached note from Tyler Straight – He needs your assistance on his Eagle Project.  Please assist if you can. Thanks. Kirk Bohanan Scoutmaster Troop 136     Hey everyone! Tyler Straight here.    First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who attended my Eagle Scout Project this weekend. While we were unable to work Sunday, the crew that arrived on Saturday did a magnificent job. We painted nearly everything we needed to, and we removed an impressive amount of gravel in our small four hour window. Everyone worked hard and were respectful, and I couldn't ask for any more than that.    To continue this good work, I will again be holding two work days this weekend, Saturday, July 19th from 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 20th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. behind Grove City High School at 4665 Hoover Rd. I similar equipment to last time, such as wheelbarrows, shovels, and rakes. I will not, however, need any paint...
